Whrrl Partners With FunnyorDie.com

Seattle-based Pelago, maker of the Whrrl mobile social networking and checkin software, said yesterday that it has inked a partnership with FunnyorDie.com, the online humor video site started by Will Ferrell. According to Whrrl, it will be placing videos from FunnyorDie all over the nation to view when people check into different locations. Whrrl said it would give people a chance to win a Best of Funny or Die DVDs as part of that effort, which encourages people to check into comedy clubs, karaoke bars, tattoo partners, zoos, and other locations.
