doxo Connects Dots With Online Payment

Seattle-based doxo, the online service looking to ease management of online bills, is announcing this morning that it is launching an online payment feature called doxoPAY. The firm, which is headed by Steve Shivers, said the new feature allows consumers to pay their bills from multiple service providers. doxo has been looking to bridge the gap between consumers who pay their bills online, but still do not receive those same bills electronically. The company said the new feature will help directly address the disconnect between how users are paying and receiving bills. doxo is backed by Mohr Davidow Ventures and Bezos Expeditions, and came out of the founders' realization that despite adoption of online bill payment, many consumers were uneasy and unsure about receiving those same bills electronically.
