Seattle Number Three In IT Hot Spot List
Seattle has been ranked number three in a list of IT Hot Spots, according to a report released today by online salary comparison site PayScale. PayScale ranked cities across the nation, using the ratio of IT workers at IT start-up companies relative to all workers, as well as pay, and found that Seattle was number three--right behind San Francisco (1) and Austin (2). The report found that Seattle had a ratio of IT workers to all workers of 2.06, and a median pay of $71,400. Seattle beat out other technology regions like Boston and New York in the rankings.
