Facebook Buys Stealth Seattle Startup Rel8tion

Social networking giant Facebook has acquired Seattle-based stealth mode startup Rel8tion, according to reports today. According to AllthingsD, Rel8tion was working on hyper-local mobile advertising. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed; according to AllthingD, the move expands Facebook's offices in Seattle. Rel8tion's founders included Peter Wilson (Google/Microsoft) and Scott Hannon (Microsoft/Pelago).
