Amazon Web Services Gets Into Bulk Email
Seattle-based Amazon Web Services, Amazon's web services arm, said today that it has launched a new bulk email service called Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES). The new service allows businesses and developers to send out bulk email, without building an in-house service, or licensing and using a third party service. Amazon said the new service will cost $0.10 per thousand email messages sent, and will also include a free usage tier for emails sent from EC2 or Amazon Elastic Beanstalk.
