PopCap Targets Bejeweled Blitz for Xbox LIVE

Seattle-based casual games developer PopCap Games said Monday that it is targeting a release of its Bejeweled Blitz game for Xbox LIVE Arcade. The firm said the game--similar to the fast, Facebook variant of its game--will be available sometime in the first quarter of 2011. PopCap said the title will also feature a 16-player Party mode and head to head battle over Xbox LIVE.
