Gist Expands To Chrome

Seattle-based Gist, the provider of contact information for Outlook and Gmail, said Wednesday evening that it has added support for Google's Chrome browser. According to Gist, it has added a new browser extension which allows users of Google Chrome to see contact information and data from Gist in Gmail. The firm had earlier released a version for Firefox on November 17th. Both browser extensions show contact information and details about people you're emailing in a sidebar in the browser when Gmail is running. Gist is headed by T.A. McCann, and venture backed by The Foundry Group and Vulcan Capital.
