WhatCounts Acquired By Mansell Group

Seattle-based WhatCounts, an email marketing firm, has been acquired by Atlanta-based Mansell Group, Mansell said Monday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. WhatCounts provides email marketing services to such clients as Alaska Airlines, Amazon, Costco, Fox News, MSNBC, REI, Ziff-Davis and others. WhatCounts was founded over 10 years ago by David Geller, who is currently CEO of the firm. Brian Ratzliff, co-founder and President of WhatCounts, joins the board of Mansell Group as part of the acquisition. Geller is also CEO of Seattle's Eyejot.
