RetailMeNot.com Buy Worth $87.0M?

The acquisition yesterday of Beaverton, Oregon-based RetailMeNot.com, an online coupons and deals site, looks to be worth around $87.0M, based on a regulatory filing from acquiring firm WhaleShark Media. According to the regulatory filing, WhaleShark raised around $87.0M related to the buy. Although WhaleShark had not announced financial terms of the deal, it did say it received funding from backers Austin Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) and Adams Street Partners for the transaction; it's unclear what portion of the fundraising effort went directly to RetailMeNot.com.
