Daptiv Buys Australian Firm
Seattle-based Daptiv, a provider of project portfolio management software, announced today that it has acquired an Australian project portfolio management firm, Bluenova. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Accordign to Daptiv, the acquisition will increase its revenue by roughly 10 percent, and help it capitalize on opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. Daptiv said it will hire Bluenova's staff as full time employees, and retain Bluenova's existing offices in Sydney and Brisbane, with a plan to open a new office in Melbourne. Daptiv is also tapping Bluenova's executive staff to head up its Asia Pacific operations, appling Bluenova's Charl Morkel to Director of Daptiv Asia Pacific.
