Contour Gets $2.5M

Seattle-based Contour, the maker of high definition, helmet-mounted video cameras for action sports enthusiasts, has raised $2.5M in a funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. According to the filing, the firm has raised $2.5M out of an ongoing, $5.0M funding round. Contour--formerly known as Vholdr--makes helmet mounted cameras used to provide a first-person recording of action sports activities. The firm was founded by Marc Barros and Jason Green out of a University of Washington business plan competition some number of years ago. More information »
