Wacom Hits Facebook
Vancouver, Washington-based Wacom, the maker of pen tablet input devices, said today that it has launched a set of two, new Facebook applications. According to Wacom, its new apps, Bamboo DoodleScape and Bamboo CardBuilder, are aimed at allowing users of its pen input technology to share their drawings with friends. Wacom said the new, free applications will run for anyone, but will also allow users of its pen input technology to gain additional benefits. Bamboo DoodleScape features a collaborative drawing space which allows Facebook users to draw and doodle on a page, and share that with friends; Bamboo CardBuilder allows users to send their own, handwritten greetings cards to others.
