doxo Hailed By Analyst Firm

Seattle-based doxo.com, the paperless billing startup headed by Steve Shivers and backed by Mohr Davidow Ventures and Bezos Expeditions, is hailing its naming to a study of insurance technology companies by analyst firm Forrester. Doxo said it was one of ten "Hot Insurance Tech Companies to Watch in 2010" by the research firm. Doxo is working on a service to help increase the participation of users in paperless billing programs from utilities, insurance firms, banking, cable, telecom, and other service providers. The firm is looking to bridge the gap between people who pay via electronic banking, yet still receive paper bills.
