mPlay Launches Startup Focused On Video Game Licensing, Merchandising
Seattle-based mPlay, a new startup from former Microsoft Xbox executives Ed Ventura and Sandy Ting, said today that it will focus on video game licensing and merchandising. The firm said it will help build profitable video game franchises via films, TV, books music, apparel, toys, mobile, and more. Ventura spent fourteen years at Microsoft, and also was involved in development and marketing at Nintendo. Ting was also at Microsoft for thirteen years, and has also has been a film and TV production lawyer. The firm said it currently has been handling licensing and merchandising for APB (All Points Bulletin) from Realtime Worlds.
