Predixion, With Roots At Microsoft, Raises Funds

Predixion Software, a stealth mode software with its roots at Microsoft, has raised $800,000 as part of a larger $3.0M funding round, according to a regulatory filing today. The firm, which has offices in Redmond, says that one of its co-founders is former Microsoft employee Jamie MacLennan, and is based on work MacLennan did in developing data warehousing software as part of Microsoft SQL Server Data Mining. The firm said its development offices are in Redmond, with headquarters in Southern California. Among the firm's board is Stuart Frost, currently a GM at Microsoft, and former CEO at data mining firm DATAllegro, which was acquired by Microsoft in October of 2008. More information »
