ReVolt Technology Names COO

Portland-based ReVolt Technology, which is developing a rechargeable, zinc-air battery, said today that it has named Wade Guindy as its COO and EVP of Technology. Guindy was previously a Technical Advisory Board Member for the firm, and was most recently at Eksigent Technologies. Guindy also worked at Solicore, Valence Technology, GTE Government Systems, and Teledyne. The company said that Guindy will be responsible for the firm's global operations and regional development centers. ReVolt said its technology is based on research from Scandinavian research institute SINTEF.
