Avvo Raises $10M

Seattle-based Avvo, which operates an online site which rates lawyers, said today that it has received $10M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by DAG Venturs, and also included prior investors Benchmark Capital and Ignition Partners. Avvo said it will use the funding to expand and enhance its products. The firm said it now has 50,000 active participating lawyers, and about 1/3 of Washington's lawyers on the service. More information »
