WildTangent Wins Playdom

Redmond-based WildTangent said today that social games developer Playdom is using its BrandBoost advertising platform. WildTangent said that Playdom is using the ad system as part of its Facebook game Tiki Farm. Players of Tiki Farm can earn virtual items or other content in return for viewing video or rich media advertisements from within the game. Financial details of the win were not disclosed.
