MOD Systems Bolsters Board

Seattle-based MOD Systems, which develops retail kiosks for distributing digital music, television, music, and games, is announcing Monday that the firm has added former Microsoft exec Will Poole and former Coinstar CEO Dan Gerrity to its board of directors. According to MOD Systems, Poole and Gerrity will join Michael Towers, Anthony Bay, as well as observers from both NCR and Toshiba on the board. Poole is co-chairman of NComputing, and was previously Corporate vice President of the Unlimited Potential Group at Microsoft; he was also the founder of eShop. Gerrity is currently VP of Business Development at Nathon Myhrvold's Intellectual Ventures, and previously was CEo of naverus, President and CEO of Coinstar, and has also served at Slate Corporation, Serra Systems, and IBM.
