Optimum Energy Wins UT Austin
Seattle-based Optimum Energy, a developer of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning management software, said today that it has implemented its HVAC software at the University of Texas Austin. The firm said the software, which is used to manage energy efficiency with cooling systems, is expected to save the university approximately $500,000 in cooling costs. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Optimum Energy's OptimumHVAC software helps better manage heating and air conditioning equipment.
