Microsoft Targets Specialty Retailers
Microsoft is targeting midsize specialty retailers with a new version of its Microsoft Dynamics AX supply chain management software. According to the firm, it has launched Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, a new version of its Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning software, designed for midsize specialty retailers to manage point of sale, stores, supply chain, merchandising, and financials. The firm said it expects to release the software in the summer of 2010.
