F5 Networks Targets DNSSEC Compliance
Seattle-based F5 Networks, a manufacturer of load balancing appliances, said this morning that its products are being used by U.S. government agencies and partners for DNSSEC 2009 compliance. DNSSEC is a security standard being used particularly by the government for ensuring security of the domain name (DNS) system. F5 said its BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager Application Delivery Controller will allow its customers to meet DNSSEC 2009 compliance requirements. The company explained that DNSSEC can be supported as an add-on feature to its device, with those features available sometime this month.
