Amazon Gives Away Free MP3 In Twitter Promotion

Amazon.com gave away a free MP3 to its Twitter followers Thursday, saying that users could download an MP3 worth $1.29 or less for free, in celebration of the firm hitting over 1 million Twitter followers. The firm said that users would need to redeem the free MP3 credit by September 6th at 11:59PM, and that users could buy songs worth more than $1.29, but would be charged the difference. Amazon launched its MP3 download store in September of 2007; the company's Twitter account is @amazonmp3.
