TranSenda Releases Clinical Trial Management Software

Bellevue, Washington-based TranSenda, a developer of software for the clinical trial market, said Thursday that the firm has created a new product focused on improving access to centralized clinical trial data. The firm said its new product, Cortex, allows sponsors and clinical research organizations (CRO) to access clinical trials data through Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft's intranet portal software. The firm said the new software is an improvement on current industry practice, which requires custom data connections and software to gain access to applications.
