Faves Clamps Down On Spammers
Seattle-based Faves.com, the online social bookmarking service run by Mike Koss, is clamping down on spammers on the site. According to a blog post by Koss, the firm is now hand-picking users who will be allowed to post content to the firm's front page and "Buzz" pages, after running into issues with users using the site solely for SEO, spam, and distributing adult content. Koss blamed the move on the company's downsizing, saying that it's been "increasingly hard" keeping up with spammers since the firm scaled back on full time staff.
