Azaleos Gains Patent
Seattle-based Azaleos, a provider of managed Microsoft Exchange services, said today that the firm has received a patent covering its monitoring technology. According to Azaleos, the patent from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office covers the underlying technology of its OneStop remote monitoring and management services for Microsoft Exchange. According to the USPTO, the patent--number 7,502,846--was granted to Keith A. McCall and Ronald S. Woan, and was granted on March 10th; the firm originally filed its patent in June of 2008, using the firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, P.C. McCall is Chief Technology Officer and founder of Azaleos, and Woan is the firm's VP of Development and Engineering.
