Ontela Gets Win At Photobucket

Seattle-based Ontela is behind the new mobile photo upload service rolling out today from Verizon Wireless and photo sharing site Photobucket, the firm disclosed today. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Ontela, which develops technology services for allowing consumers to upload and save photos from their camera phones, is behind the new wireless service which allows Verizon subscribers to send photos to a Photobucket album. The new service on Verizon will cost $2.99 a month. Ontela recently raised a new round of funding from Eastven Venture Partners.
