HipCricket Heads South Of The Border

Kirkland, Washington-based HipCricket, a provider of mobile marketing services, said this morning that the firm is expanding into Mexico through a strategic partnership. According to HipCricket, it is teaming up with two Mexican investors--Pablo Peralta and Enerique Lopez-Negrete--on the effort, which will provide services for companies looking to reach Mexican consumers. Financial details of the effort were not disclosed. HipCricket said that its new effort, HipCricket de Mexico, will be headed by Lopez Negrete.
