Jive Software Wins Global Lodging Group

Portland, Oregon-based Jive Software, a publisher of social networking software for businesses, revealed Tuesday that the world's largest lodging group is using Jive's Social Business software to contact and communicate with its customers. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to Jive, its software is assisting the Intercontinental Hotel Group with the new online community for its member loyalty program, Priority Club. Jive said Priority Club members and other travelers are using Jive's customer feedback and social networking tool to interact with IHG management and with one another. IHG owns, manages, leases or franchises more than 4,100 hotels and more than 600,000 guest rooms in nearly 100 countries and territories across the globe.
