Apptio Hires Bizdev VP

Bellevue, Washington-based Apptio, a provider of IT cost management solutions, reported Wednesday that it has hired Stan Shull as vice president of business development. Shull, the business said, will supervise its strategic alliances and partner programs. Sunny Gupta, Apptio's chief executive officer and co-founder, described Shull as an industry leader in business development with more than two decades of relevant experience. Founded in 2007, Apptio is a privately held company backed by Greylock Partners, the Madrona Venture Group, Marc Andreessen, Ben Horowitz, Ignition Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
