UtilX Welcomes New President, CEO in Connolly

UtilX Corp., a provider of cable maintenance and repair solutions, reported Friday that John Connolly has joined the Seattle-based firm as president and chief executive officer. Connolly, UtilX noted, succeeds Tom Van Horn, who has accepted the role of executive vice president of strategy, technology and business development for UtilX's parent company, the InfrastruX Group. UtilX described Connolly as a power industry veteran who spent 23 years at ABB. Most recently, UtilX added, he was senior vice president of operations for Coe Manufacturing of Portland, Ore.
