Movaya to Power Glu's Direct-to-Consumer Sales
Seattle-based Movaya Wireless Inc., maker of a mobile content management and distribution platform, revealed Tuesday that its technology will power international video game publisher Glu Mobile Inc.'s direct-to-consumer sales. According to Movaya, Glu will integrate Movaya's PlugNPlay and TryNBuy solutions into its Web properties, which will first allow Glu's wireless customers to sample games before buying them and then deliver any purchases directly to their mobile devices. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Movaya said that three titles—"Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," "The Dark Knight" and "Family Feud"—are available for purchase at Glu.com via Movaya's platform. Additional titles will be added in the coming weeks, Movaya said.
