Ontier Bolsters Funding

Portland-based Ontier said late last week that it has added additional investors to the firm's recent angel funding round, saying that it has added Doug Fieldhouse and other unnamed investors in what it describes as an "oversubscribed" funding. Amount of the additional funding for the firm, which develops software-as-a-service for business communications, was not disclosed. The firm said the new funding will go towards development and a customer beta program. Fieldhouse is President and CEO of Vesta, a provider of electronic payment services, which is also based in Portland.
