Micronics Raises $9M
Redmond-based Micronics said Thursday that it has raised a Series C round of funding, led by the Southwest Michigan First (SWMF) Life Science Fund. The firm, which develops molecular diagnostics products, said this funding, plus a Series B closed earlier this year, adds $9M in new capital to the firm. Micronics said that Patrick Morand of SWMF joins the firm's board as part of the funding round. Micronics' products are used for disease detection, diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
