CleanScapes Gets $10M

CleanScapes, a provider of recycling and waste collection in Seattle, Shoreline, Portland, and San Francisco, has collected $10M in a Series A financing, according to venture fund SJF Ventures II, LP. According to SJF, it invested $1.6M of that Series A in CleanScapes, which collects municipal waste using "sustainable" techniques. Information about other firms involved in the funding was not disclosed. SJF Ventures II said that CleanScapes recently won $40M in contracts in Shoreline and Seattle. More information »
