TriQuint Releases GPS Component
Hillsboro, Oregon-based TriQuint Semiconductor released a new component used in global positioning satellite (GPS) navigation systems Monday. TriQuint said its new RF mobile for GPS, provides filter and low-noise amplifier functions used for implementing GPS systems. The new component is targeted for use in wireless handsets, as well as other mobile and automotive designs. TriQuint is a major provider of surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters which are a key part of GPS designs. The new TQM640002 GPS RF front-end module is now sampling.
