Cdigix Enhances Educational Software

Seattle-based Cdigix, which develops rich digital media services for the college and university market, said today that it has enhanced its software. According to the firm, it now allows course-level integration with its platform from within the Blackboard course management systems. Blackboard is a provider of products which allows universities and colleges to host classes on the Internet. The integration ties Cdigix's services for posting digital audio and video of courses to the internet with Blackboard's software, which is used to post course materials and information. Cdigix is venture backed by Iron Gate Capital, Meritage Private Equity Funds, and Novak Biddle Venture Partners.
