CompView Hires VP

CompView Medical, a manufacturer of audiovisual equipment for use in operating rooms, reported Monday that it has hired Steve Heniges as vice president of sales and marketing. CompView said Heniges will work to expand the company's sales channels while overseeing its launch and promotion of new and existing surgical solutions. Prior to joining CompView, the company noted, Heniges served as senior vice president of global marketing and clinical development for Viking Systems. He has also held several senior management positions with Johnson & Johnson, including stints with that company's divisions in Japan and Russia. Headquartered in Beaverton, Ore., CompView is a medical technology-focused spinoff of CompView Inc.
