InFocus to Add DisplayLink USB to Projectors
Digital projector manufacturer InFocus Corp. revealed earlier this week that it has formed a strategic partnership with DisplayLink Corp., a developer of computer-to-display connection technology and related software. As part of the agreement, InFocus said it will incorporate DisplayLink's USB graphics connectors into future projectors. Doing so, InFocus explained, should simplify the process of connecting a laptop computer to the projector, which has often been a source of delay and frustration at meetings and presentations. InFocus said its DisplayLink-enabled projectors will be available in the second half of this year. DisplayLink's U.S. operations are based in Palo Alto, Calif. InFocus is headquartered in Wilsonville, Ore.
