Big Fish, SanDisk Launch Web Site for Flash Games
Seattle-based casual computer game developer Big Fish Games Inc. has teamed with flash memory manufacturer SanDisk Corp. to launch a new Web site containing dozens of family-friendly games that run on USB flash drives, SanDisk announced Tuesday. SanDisk said the site currently offers 56 game titles and could boast as many as 100 by summer. Visitors can download and play games free of charge for one hour; after that, they must purchase full game versions for $19.99 (Big Fish's Game Club subscribers only need pay $6.99). SanDisk said the games rely on its U3 technology, which enables USB flash drives to run applications without needing to install them on host computers.
