TriQuint Chairman To Lead Oregon AeA
TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., a manufacturer of wireless modules and components, revealed Monday that Steve Sharp, chairman of the company’s board of directors, will serve a two-year term as chairperson of the Oregon Council of the AeA. Formerly the American Electronics Association, the AeA is the nation's largest technology trade association with some 2,500 member companies representing all segments of the high-tech industry. Sharp, who will take over later this month, has been the Oregon Council's vice-chair since 2005. He succeeds current council chair Robert DeKoning. Sharp has been with TriQuint since 1991 and originally was director, president and CEO. TriQuint is headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore.
