SignaCert Names Skipper Sales Vice President

SignaCert Inc., a provider of information technology management software and services, revealed Monday that it has hired Randal Skipper as its vice president of sales. SignaCert described Skipper as a direct and indirect sales veteran with more than 20 years of experience. SignaCert said he joins the company from Messagelabs Inc., where he held an identical position. Before that, Skipper was sales vice president for Marimba Inc. and U.S. sales vice president for Intelligent Interactions, SignaCert said. Skipper has also worked for Oracle Corp. and Dataworks Corp., SignaCert added. Founded in 2004, SignaCert is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. The firm is venture-backed by DCM-Doll Capital Management, Garage Technology Ventures, Intel Capital and SmartForest Ventures. More information »
