Centennial to Release Asset Discovery Software

Centennial Software, a developer of IT asset discovery and endpoint security solutions, announced Wednesday that it will introduce the latest version of its IT asset discovery software in less than two weeks. Centennial said the new release, called Centennial Discovery 2007, features migration planning and reporting tools designed to help companies manage and budget the enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft Windows Vista. The title also offers new Web reports and audit enhancements for IPv6 networks and Windows CE-based devices, Centennial said. The company added that Centennial Discovery 2007 will be available for purchase on Sept. 3. Users will also be able to download a free, 30-day trial version from the company’s Web site, Centennial said. Centennial Software is based in Portland, Ore.
