WatchGuard Hires Two New Sales VPs

WatchGuard Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of security appliances for small- to mid-sized businesses, reported Thursday that it has hired two industry veterans to its executive staff. Terry Haas, formerly CEO of Solera Networks, has been named WatchGuard’s vice president of international sales, while Bill Smith, previously vice president of worldwide sales for LANDesk Software, has been named WatchGuard's vice president of sales for the Americas. WatchGuard said both individuals boast decades of sales and marketing experience and will report directly to the chief executive officer. Founded in 1996, WatchGuard Technologies is a privately owned company headquartered in Seattle.
