RealNetworks Unveils Upgraded Media Player

Seattle-based RealNetworks announced an upgraded media player from the company, at the D: All Things Digital Conference Thursday. The company said that the new RealPlayer will be available next month, and will include one-click online video download, multiple video download, and support for multiple video formats including Flash, windows Media, and Quicktime. RealNetworks also said that the new player will include ability to burn videos to CD and DVDs. The new player will initially be relased for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox on Windows, with plans for a Mac version later in the year.
