Yapta Launches Beta

Seattle-based Yapta said today that it has launched a public beta of the firm's airfare tagging service. The new service allows consumers to track airfare on specific flights, and receive alerts when fares drop. The service, which has been in private beta since December, also includes a way to request refunds from airlines based on guaranteed airfare rules. Yapta was founded in January 2006, and is headed by Tom Romary.
