HP Buys PolyServe

HP said late Monday that it has acquired Beaverton, Oregon-based PolyServe, a maker of software for shared storage access. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. HP said that the acquisition will provide HP with entry into the high-growth enterprise network attached storage (NAS) market. PolyServe employs 117. HP said that PolyServe will become part of its StorageWorks division in HP’s Technology Solutions Group.
