Seattle Genetics, Agensys Collaborate On Cancer Therapy

Santa Monica, California-based Agensys and Bothwell, Washington-based Seattle Genetics said today that the two are in an agreement to research, develop, and commercialize therapies for cancer. The multi-year agreement calls for the two to co-fund preclinical and clinical development and share profits. Seattle Genetics is developing therapies for the treament of multiple types of cancer, based on monoclonal antibodies. The firm is targeting non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia and Hodgkin's disease.
