Best Buy, RealNetworks, and SanDisk Launch Music Store
Seattle-based RealNetworks, electronics retailer Best Buy, and MP3 maker SanDisk said this morning that they have launched a new, online music store around RealNetwork's Rhapsody music service. The new Best Buy Digital Music Store will go head to head with Apple's popular iTunes music store, and offer music for download both for purchase and through a monthly subscription. Tracks will be offered for $.99 per song, or through an unlimited music listening plan for $14.99 per month. The store will also promote SanDisk's Sansa e200R MP3 player.
