Omeros Buys Nura, Gets Investment

Seattle-based Omeros is acquiring Seattle-based Nura, a biopharmaceutical company developing pain treatments and other central nervous system disorders including schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease, the firm said this morning. Financial terms were not disclosed. Omeros said that it has received a substantial investment from ARCH Venture Partners, Aravis Venture, and Novartis Venture Funds as a part of the transaction. Omeros is developing pharmaceuticals for use in orthopedics, rheumatology, urology, cardiovascular medicine, general surgery and pain management. More information »
